While ranches and feed yards rely more and more on modern equipment and technology, any cowboy or pen rider will tell you – there’s not substitute for a good horse. That’s why Gottsch Cattle Company’s Pawnee Springs Ranch breeds and trains horses specifically for use on our ranches and feed lots.

Breeding is based on proven performance
characteristics to produce horses that have a:

In addition, step training from the earliest possible age prepares these horses to easily perform the tasks of any operation, even in the most demanding conditions.

While Gottsch Cattle Company raises these horses for its own use, we sometimes raise more than we need. These horses are then offered for sale.
